Kuidopay is a messaging platform operated by Kuido Technologies, Inc. ("Kuidopay," "we," "us," or "our"). Kuidopay provides messaging technology and infrastructure that enables stores, supermarkets, and other businesses ("Merchants") to communicate with their customers through messaging services, including SMS and Rich Communication Services (RCS).
This Privacy Policy explains how Kuido Technologies, Inc. collects, uses, protects, and discloses information in connection with the Kuidopay website, platform, applications, and messaging services.
By using Kuidopay's services, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
Depending on how you interact with Kuidopay, we may collect the following categories of information.
Information Provided by Merchants
Merchants using Kuidopay may provide information such as:
- Business name and contact information
- Business address and account information
- Authorized user information
- Messaging sender information, including phone numbers and sender identities
- Customer contact information necessary to provide messaging services
- Messaging campaign and communication preferences
- Information necessary to configure and operate the Merchant's account
Information Related to Customers of Merchants
When a customer subscribes to receive communications from a Merchant using Kuidopay, we may process information necessary to provide the messaging service, which may include:
- Mobile phone number
- Messaging subscription or opt-in status
- Date, time, and method of consent
- Opt-out status and preferences
- Message delivery and communication records
- Information necessary to process customer requests such as HELP or STOP
Customers provide their consent directly to the applicable Merchant. Kuidopay provides the technology and messaging infrastructure used by the Merchant to manage and deliver those communications.

When you access our website or platform, we may collect technical information such as:

- Browser and device information
- Operating system
- Log information
- Usage information
- Cookies and similar technologies
2. How We Use Information
We may use information to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Kuidopay platform.
- Provide messaging services on behalf of Merchants.
- Create and manage Merchant accounts.
- Process and maintain messaging subscriptions and opt-out requests.
- Deliver, route, and monitor SMS and RCS communications.
- Maintain records necessary to demonstrate messaging consent and compliance.

- Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and other security incidents.

- Communicate with Merchants regarding their Kuidopay accounts and services.
Kuidopay does not use customer messaging consent information for purposes unrelated to the messaging program for which the customer provided consent.
3. Merchant Responsibility for Customer Consent
Each Merchant is responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from its customers before sending promotional or other recurring messages through Kuidopay.
Customers subscribe directly to the Merchant's messaging program. The Merchant is responsible for providing clear information about the identity of the sender, the types of messages customers will receive, message frequency, and how customers can withdraw their consent.
Kuidopay provides the technology used by Merchants to manage and deliver their messaging programs and does not independently create customer subscriptions on behalf of unrelated Merchants.
Consent provided by a customer for one Merchant or messaging program does not constitute consent to receive messages from another Merchant or unrelated messaging program.
4. Messaging Opt-In and Consent Information
Kuidopay may process information associated with a customer's messaging consent, including the customer's phone number, consent status, date and time of consent, method of consent, and applicable Merchant or messaging program.
This information may be retained as necessary to provide the messaging service, demonstrate compliance, process opt-out requests, prevent abuse, and satisfy applicable legal or regulatory requirements.
Messaging opt-in data and consent will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
Kuidopay does not sell or transfer a customer's messaging consent to another Merchant, business, or unrelated messaging program.
5. Service Providers and Messaging Providers
Kuidopay may use trusted service providers to operate and deliver its services.
These service providers may process information solely as necessary to provide services to Kuidopay and its Merchants, such as cloud hosting, infrastructure, security, analytics, customer support, and messaging delivery.
For messaging services, Kuidopay may use third-party messaging providers, including Twilio, to transmit and deliver SMS and RCS communications.
These providers may process information necessary to provide the requested messaging services. They are not authorized to use Kuidopay customer messaging opt-in data or consent for their own independent marketing or promotional purposes.
6. Information Sharing
We may disclose information:
- To service providers that help us operate the Kuidopay platform and provide messaging services.
- To the applicable Merchant when necessary to provide services requested by that Merchant.
- When required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
- To protect the rights, safety, security, or property of Kuidopay, our Merchants, customers, or others.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar corporate transaction, subject to applicable law.
We do not sell personal information or messaging opt-in data.
We do not share messaging opt-in data or consent with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
7. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to:
- Provide our services;
- Maintain business and service records;
- Demonstrate messaging consent and compliance;
- Process opt-out requests;
- Prevent fraud and abuse;
- Resolve disputes; and
- Comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the purpose for which it was collected.

Kuidopay maintains reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

9. Customer Messaging Choices
Customers may withdraw their consent to receive recurring messages from a Merchant at any time through the opt-out mechanism provided by that messaging program.
For SMS or messaging programs that support standard keywords, customers may use the applicable opt-out instructions, such as replying STOP, where supported.
Customers may also contact the applicable Merchant directly regarding their messaging preferences.
Opting out of one Merchant's messaging program does not automatically opt the customer out of unrelated messaging programs from other Merchants.
10. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Kuidopay may use cookies, pixels, logs, and similar technologies to operate our website and platform, understand usage, maintain security, and improve our services.
You may be able to control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of our website or platform.
11. Children's Privacy
Kuidopay's services are not directed to children under the age required by applicable law.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable privacy laws. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us improperly, please contact us using the information below.
